Seoyon E-Hwa Co., Ltd. has been certified with NET (New Excellent Technology) in the 3rd round of 2024 for its jointly developed technology with Hyundai Motor Company and GS Caltex: "Co-Injection Manufacturing Technology for Passenger Car Door Trim Using Recycled Materials from End-of-Life Vehicles."

The NET Certification system officially recognizes newly developed technologies in Korea or significant advancements to existing technologies. These innovations must demonstrate substantial economic and technological impact, with commercialization expected to bring notable improvements in product quality and performance.

The certified technology by Seoyon E-Hwa is an eco-friendly injection molding process that reduces the use of virgin materials by incorporating recycled materials from end-of-life vehicles into the interior layer, while using new materials for the surface. This method increases the utilization rate of recycled resources up to 50%, enhancing both environmental sustainability and economic efficiency compared to conventional processes.

This technology is set to be primarily applied to interior components of electric vehicles and is currently under review for potential expansion to other products in the future.
