The award ceremony was held at the Seoul Namsan Millennium Hilton Hotel. In 2008, Hanil E-Hwa set the objective of ‘2 trillion KRW in sales as a global auto parts supplier by 2013.’ It was a challenging goal, but it was able to achieve the goal in 2012. This was due to Chariman Ryu’s global business which emphasized exports and overseas production. Ever since it began supplying door trims and other interior parts to Renault-Nissan in 2008, Hanil E-Hwa expanded its marketing activities to the major global car makers. As a result, it won a contract from Volkswagen in November 2014, and it also won contract from Mercedes-Benz in China in September 2015. It is also strengthening its global businesses in various regions such as China, Mexico, USA, etc.
In 2013, the company re-established its vision as ‘Ranking among the top 50 global auto parts suppliers in 2018,’ with the slogan ‘MARU 50.’ In July 2014, it shifted to a group system under the holding company Seoyon, in order to maximize the synergic effect among the subsidiaries. In order to achieve its goal, Hanil E-Hwa has set the following as its strategy – product sales increase, management system innovation, global product competitiveness, and affiliates synergy creation.
