Honorable Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, visited the Bistrita factory of Seoyon E-Hwa Slovakia on February 20 (Monday), 2017. He met with Chairman Ryu, Yang-seok, staffs and executives of the corporation to convey his gratitude to Seoyon E-Hwa for making contributions towards the local advancement and growth of automobile industry in Slovakia.
Visit by the Prime Minister Fico was made since the automobile industry accounts for the major portion of the economy in Slovakia (43% of the total industrial production), and Seoyon E-Hwa Slovakia has been making substantial contributions towards the elevating the status of Slovakia within Europe through receiving National Quality Award in 2010, Most Outstanding Award in National Quality Award in 2014 and acquisition of 5 Star of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) in 2016, etc.
The Prime Minister Fico was accompanied by the Honorable Governor of Trencin, Jaroslav Baska, and spokesman for the Office of Prime Minister, Szaboova, as well as 4 other government dignitaries during the visit, and agreed to be filmed for broadcasting by the local national television (RTVS TV).
The visitors inspected the showroom for the key products including Door Trims and Consoles being supplied to the Slovakia Factory of Kia Motors first, before being briefed on the current status of the global expansion of Seoyon Group and Seoyon E-Hwa as well as the current status of supply of completed vehicles in the Conference Hall.
During the briefing session, the Prime Minister Fico requested that the Korean companies present in Slovakia to make contributions towards the advancement of the national economy of Slovakia by expanding the supply to other OEM companies and generation of employment opportunities through the assertive increase in the manufacturing capacities and personnel since completed vehicle companies such as Kia Motors, VW and Peugeot Citroen are already established in Slovakia with scheduled completion of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) factory at the end of 2018.
Prime Minister Fico, during the inspection of the factory that followed, highly evaluated the modern facilities and pleasant working conditions in the door trim, console mold injection, assembly and molding foam press manufacturing lines, which are differentiated from other factories. Through candid conversation with the laborers in the production lines, he conveyed his appreciation and praised the efforts of the workers making contributions towards the economic advancement of Slovakia.
Following the completion of the schedules of the visit, the Prime Minister Fico bid farewell with the chairman Ryu, Yang-seok, along with the prayer for the continued success, growth and advancement of Seoyon E-Hwa Slovakia and request for establishment as a company that would continuously make contributions towards the advancement of the national economy and automobile industry of Slovakia in the future.
Slovakia is a country that adopted system of parliamentary government with the President in charge of foreign diplomacy and national defense as the head of the state while the Prime Minister exercising authority as the head of the administrative branch of the country. Robert Fico has been elected the Prime Minister of Slovakia for approximately 10 years since 2006 until now, with the exclusion of 2011.
