2015 Seoyon Group new recruits summer training, ‘Synergy for you’

Summer training for the newly recruited staffs of the Seoyon Group was held at the Elisian Resort in Gangchon from September 3. It was the first integrated summer training for the newly recruited staffs of the Group since the launching of the Seoyeon Holding Company in 2014. Executives of the Group including Chairman Ryu, Yang-seok and the vice-chairman participated, along with a total of 69 new recruits from Seoyon, Hanil E-Hwa, Daedong, STF, Top Metal, Hanil Interior and Dooyang Industry.

 

   The training commenced with the welcoming address by Park, Seongjeong, the vice-chairman of the Seoyon Group and the director of the HR Development Center, who said, “I sincerely hope that this will be a valuable experience in embodying the slogan of Seoyon, ‘Synergy for you.’” Various programs aimed at cultivating friendship and solidarity was implemented. Kim, Tae-young, a staff at Dooyang Industry, who participated in the most
popular event of “rafting on the
Hongcheon River,” commented that, “Rafting on the refreshing Hongcheon River was an excellent opportunity to bond with the other new recruits.”

 

Moreover, the new recruits communicated with each other through other programs including a “special lecture” by Lim, Young-cheol, the vice-president of Seoyon Group, which emphasized innovation and a challenging spirit, a “healing art session” to think about the future of the Group through artistic expressions, and the “choir performance” to foster cooperation and harmony.

 

   Chairman Ryu, Yang-seok, emphasized the importance of communication, stating that, “you are the leaders of the Seoyon Group, destined to become the No. 1 global leader in the future. The future of the Seoyon Group will be bright only when all of you are able to establish a cooperative relationship amongst yourselves.”

 

   Choir performance was staged by dividing the newly recruited staffs into 3 teams, namely, Passion, Challenge and Harmony. The competition was quite fierce with the Challenge team winning first place. It offered a venue for passion, harmony and communication through competition. After the competition, all the newly recruited staffs of the Seoyon Group sang the song, ‘With Love,” in chorus.

 

   Seo, Gyeong-bae, a staff at STF, felt that “the choir performance was very helpful. The efforts of all the team members to achieve harmony was a demonstration of communication and passion. Moreover the words of encouragement by the Chairman further boasted the morale of all the new recruits.”

 

   The training was held with the aim of recognizing the importance and the essentiality of communication, to break down the barriers among the subsidiary companies, and to establish the foundation on which to plan the future of the Group with solidarity.
