On January 2, Seoyon Group held its 2026 New Year Kick-off Ceremony at the Seoyon R&D Center, chaired by Chairman Yang-Seok Ryu and attended by group executives.

The Chairman emphasized the importance of thoroughly developing preemptive response scenarios to address sharp fluctuations in tariffs, exchange rates, and interest rates. He also called for strengthening early-response systems to legal and regulatory changes, ensuring stable supply chain management, and reinforcing overall risk preparedness.

He urged the Group to focus on strengthening practical competitiveness in order intake and bidding processes, accelerating the early stabilization of new projects, and, through these efforts, ensuring the stable operation of each business site.

The Chairman highlighted the advancement and enhanced utilization of existing internal management systems, as well as the importance of securing future competitiveness that clearly surpasses that of competitors through the use of AI. In particular, he emphasized that 2026 should mark the inaugural year of a full-fledged AI era for the Group.

In closing, Chairman Ryu quoted British biologist Charles Robert Darwin:“It is not the strongest that survive, but those who are most adaptable to change.”He stressed that change is not something to be avoided, but something that the Group must proactively understand and leverage.
