Seoyon E-Hwa Co., Ltd. participated in the 51st National Quality Innovation Competition, held from August 25 to 29 at the International Convention Center Jeju, where the “Firefly” Quality Circle achieved outstanding results, winning the Presidential Gold Award in the Safety & Quality category.
This year’s competition featured 320 quality circles representing 208 workplaces nationwide that advanced to the final round. Participants competed across 18 categories, including Carbon Neutrality, ESG, Smart Factory, Safety & Quality, Equipment (PTM), Engineering Asset Management (EAM), Six Sigma, On-site Improvement, Office Innovation, Research Performance, Service, Shared-Growth Collaboration, Learning Organization (CoP), Proposal Case Studies, Free-Style (Manufacturing), Free-Style (Service), Big Data & AI, and New Product Development (NPD).
The Firefly team received the Presidential Gold Award in the Safety & Quality category for its project, “Reducing Risk Levels by Improving Hazard Factors in Door Trim Manufacturing Processes.” With continued wins since first entering the competition in 1996, Seoyon E-Hwa has reinforced its standing as a leader in quality innovation within the automotive interior and exterior parts industry.
A Seoyon E-Hwa representative stated, “We will continue to identify and support voluntary small-scale innovation activities within the company, in connection with our ongoing E-novation Idea Contest. Our goal is to further enhance problem-solving at the production site and contribute to improving product quality.”
